Description

This is a larger volume than RET 3/4/2/1 and there are more columns. Later on, some of columns alter slightly - eg one is added for milk, and the weight of meat is also later given. Entries are weekly, with a grand total at the end of the financial year; each new year begins with a total of stock on hand. From 1 April 1852, quarterly totals are also given Volume marked 'Cash Book 1823-83' on spine
