Notes

Title from cover.
"This is the second edition print of Bloody Hell. The first time around this zine received a lot of great press and was funded through crowd-sourcing, it went on to be featured on a variety of mainstream media and news. In the process of making and promoting this publication, something really cool happened and I wanted to share that: for me, talking about periods doesn't seem so radical anymore. I started this zine because period talk was punk rock, it was radical and taboo and I was going to change the world. But now, period talk is...just talk. I spent months wrapped up in menstrual chat with press, friends, printers and more. I can't even pretend to be phased by it anymore. It's lost all taboo for me. Talking, explicitly, wittily, happily, sadly, and everything in between made such a difference. It broke down my internal taboos. I hope this zine can do the same for you. I hope we can all start talking about our taboos, no matter what they are, and don't stop till we've wiped away the entire shaming rhetoric."--Provided by zinester.
