Description
This programme examines premenstrual tension (PMT) and the various opinions on the causes, effects and treatments of it. Experts' opinions differ on treatment of premenstrual syndrome, and recommendations range from prescribing the hormone progesterone, changing the diet, feminist therapy, alternative therapy, hysterectomy and SSRI drugs such as Prozac.
