Description

Black and white photograph of a woman who had a small cystic adenoma in the right lobe of the thyroid gland, which is otherwise nearly normal. This patient subsequently died of ovarian disease. The tumour was found to have the usual structure of a cystic adenoma, and to possess a well-defined capsule.
