    President’s Report I he members of the Board of Incorporators record with great regret the loss which they and the Hospital have suffered in the death of Henry S. Howe, a member of the Corporation since 1902. His wise counsel will always be remembered. We also regret to record the death of Horace M. Boyden, at the time of his death an interne in this Hospital. Doctor Boyden was graduated from the University of Oregon with the degree of A.B. He studied medicine at the University.of Michigan, from which institution he was graduated in 1930. Pie began his interneship at this Hospital in October, 1930, and during his short connection with the Hospital, gave promise of a high order. During the coming year, we shall build additions to our Out-Patient Department, not altogether with the hope to enlarge the numbei of patients, but to give to those who come to us for medical aid the same careful examination, diagnosis and treatment which they would receive from private practitioners. We take a just pride in those men who, having received a part of their education and experience in this Hospital, have been called to positions of importance in other hospitals and in medical schools in this country. During the past year, the following doctors have been honored by appointments: Dr. Hilbert F. Day, Professor of Clinical Surgery, Tufts College Medical School. Dr. Samuel A. Levine, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard. Dr. James P. O’Hare, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard. Dr. Reginald M. Atwater, Commissioner of Health, Catta¬ raugus Co., Dept, of Health, Olean, N. Y. Dr. Percival Bailey, Professor of Surgery, University of Chicago, Chicago, Ill. Dr. Frank B. Berry, Associate in Surgery, Columbia Univer¬ sity, N. Y.
