Description

Two strands of DNA(shown in green) in the process of homologous recombination forming a structure known as a Holliday junction. This model shows the complex formed between the E. coli RuvA protein (blue) and the RuvB protein (yellow) and the DNA molecule. The resolvase enzyme which cuts the DNA, RuvC is shown in red.
