Concerns photographing heads of soldiers with diagram (letter dated 1 Jul 1878); hopes he will like the medallion of Erasmus Darwin by Onslow Ford; letter dated 13 Aug 1879 Galton announced that 'my dear wife died here at 2.45 this morning' with details of illness; letter dated 12 Dec 1898 discusses ancestral law and natural selection; letters from 1910 discuss eugenics; grateful to George Darwin (brother) to accept Copley Medal from the Royal Society for him.
