Description
This film demonstrates the physiological anatomy of the lymphatic system in the rabbit, cat, dog and monkey. The introductory section reviews the historical understanding of the lymphatic system as understood by Gaspar Asellius in 1622, It concludes with two animated diagrams, one showing the sources and circulation of lymph and lymphocytes, while the other demonstrates the course taken in man by the subcutaneous lymph from the big toe to the blood stream.
