    ANNUAL REPORT. To the Chairman and Members of the Education Committee. Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen, I beg to submit the thirty-eighth Annual Report of the School Medical Officer for the year ended December 31st, 1945. STAFF. One Medical Officer has been called up for service in His Majesty’s Forces. The Medical Staff is therefore reduced from four to three. THE SCHOOL MEDICAL SERVICE IN RELATION TO MAINTAINED PRIMARY SCHOOLS (IHCLUDIN6 CENTRAL) MEDICAL INSPECTION reports. The arrangements for carrying out Medical Inspection at the Schools have been described in prw >oi The following groups of primary school children were examined during the j cai . A. Of the 2,184 children examined at the routine inspections, 314 were found to be suffering from slight! subnormal nutrition; 1 case of bad nutrition was recorded.
