    The Annual Report. To the Patrons, Benefactors and Subscribers of the Flintshire Dispensary and Cottage Hospital. Your Grace, My Lord, Ladies and Gentlemen,— Your Committee of Management have the honour of presenting a Report and Balance Sheet, which record progress of a substantial kind carried out under trying circumstanaes, and reveal many elements of an encouraging nature. The pressing need for an extension of the Wards forced your Committee to push this work forward, and after long and anxious debate, plans were approved and estimates invited for such modified scheme as could safely be faced with the modest Fund at their disposal. The work is not yet completed, and the final word cannot be uttered, but your Committee are of opinion that a most satisfactory and workable result will be achieved. That it is less than was desired is a matter of regret, but the chief object has been accomplished, and the accommodation for patients more than doubled ; whilst in those improvements desired, but deferred, ample scope remains for the utilisation of any Bene¬ factions generous givers of the future may be disposed to place at the disposal of your Management Com¬ mittee.
