Description

Scene from the Shahnameh. In the foreground three women stand by a tent or shelter while a woman dressed in clothes seen on male fighters takes an armoured figure prisoner. Another woman in ornate dress watches nearby carrying a strung instrument. In the background is a castle, inside are two bound figures with horses. Above and below the image are bars of text in Arabic.
