Related to a portrait-type of Harvey represented by Keynes no. VII (in the Royal Society as attributed to Cornelis Johnson; other versions elsewhere). A version previously in the Fitzwilliam collection at Wentworth Woodhouse, Yorks., and sold at Christie's, London, 11 July 1986, lot 60, was attributed to the studio of Sir P. Lely, ca. 1650
