Vol. 40. no. 1 (Spring 1996) includes the papers of the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy, previously published in: Selected studies in phenomenology and existential philosophy. Beginning with vol. 41 (1997) through Vol. 55 (2011) the papers are published as a supplement; called "SPEP supplement" with Vol. 45 (2001) and may also carry the numbering of the Selected studies in phenomenology and existential philosophy, eg Vol. 40, no. 1 (Spring 1996) is also numbered: Vol. 21. From 2012- the papers are published as an issue of: Journal of speculative fiction.
