Correspondents include the Council of State (and its clerk John Rushworth and president Arthur Annesley, afterwards 1st Earl of Anglesey), Secretaries of State (Charles Middleton, 2nd Earl of Middleton, and Sir William Trumbull), Members of Parliament for Hull (John Ramsden and Sir Willoughby Hickman), and Thomas Windsor, 1st Earl of Plymouth, Governor of Hull.
