Description

A medium to large, unarmed pinnate palm with open leaf sheaths and no crownshaft. The pinnae appear irregularly arranged on the rachis but in one plane. This is possibly a species of Oenocarpus, but the distinctive inflorescences of Oenocarpus are lacking
