About this work
Description
These photographs were collected by Ann Dally mainly during the 1980s to "dispel" a commonly held "false idea" that drug addicts, notably heroin addicts, "lead degraded, sick lives, leading to disease and early death". The albums show the children of drug addicts, drug addicts with their children and drug addicts 'at home, work and play'.
