Description
Letters received from O'Beirne regarding puzzles and the work of M C Escher. The first letter thanks Penrose for a gift, and contains notes on the manufacture of self-replicating mechanisms. The second letter concerns Penrose visiting Scotland. The third and fourth letters concern a request by two American manufacturers to examine puzzles created by O'Beirne and Penrose with a view to licensing them.
