L. J. Ramsay, "Voluntary aid and social work for the thalidomide child"

Two typescript drafts of an article on the type of social work that developed in response to the thalidomide phenomenon during its first two decades. One draft probably by Lillian Jane Ramsay (1926-2010), a medical social worker who was involved with the Lady Hoare Appeal for Thalidomide Children and with the Thalidomide (Children's) Trust. The second draft appears to be substantially rewritten, most likely by Smithells.
