Description

Question of cancer cells and other tumour cells retaining functional characteristics of the cell type from which they are derived ('endocrine tumours' generally). Notes on enlargements of the liver (and spleen) of rare or uncertain origin, and differential diagnosis (some secondary tumours of liver). Endocrine and functioning tumours generally (including 'insulin-carcinoma' of the pancreas). Also some primary tumours of special interest of the bile passages, such as 'epithelio-sarcoma' of the gall bladder. 'Adenomata' of the liver and 'accessory livers'.
