About this work

Description

HPC was established in 2003, replacing CPSM (Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine), to act as a UK statutory regulatory for health professionals. HPC maintained a register of health and care professionals and approves education and training programmes, as well as providing standards of conduct and proficiency. In 2012, HPC changed its name to Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

HPC In Focus newsletter, issue 6, Aug 2006; "Continuing Professional Development: Key Decisions" HPC consultation document, c.2004; "Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics", 2004; "The Future: a paper for consultation", c.2002; HPC "Annual Report 2005: Fitness to Practice". The majority of these documents are photocopies, presumably kept by FIH for reference purposes.
