Description

Dr. Mark Porter investigates the rising numbers of drugs prescribed to treat depression and asks if the NHS is wasting millions of pounds that could be bettr spent offering support in the forms of councilling and psychotherapy. He looks at the rising number of drugs also prescribed to children with depression, currently there are 140 000 school children taking anti-depressant medication. And he also looks at how depression in homeless people and those in care is treated.
