Hyfterical perfons, or fuch as are troubled with a cachexia and indigeftion, cannot well bear repeated cathartics in w^hich cafe an emetic may be very iifeful; and when other medicines have proved unfuccefsful in removing thefe obftrudlions, that has often anf^ver’d.
