One of the photograph mounts (fol. 7v) is inscribed "Mrs Pewtress (Miss Springthorpe). This could be Florence Mary Springthorpe, who was born in June 1859 in Staffordshire and married Joseph Wilfred Pewtress on 15 Oct 1887 in Lewisham (website of Ancestry.com, accessed 27 November 2009)
