Reproduction of the title page from Cogrossi, Carlo Francesco (1682-1769): Della natura, effetti, ed'uso della corteccia del Perù, o' sia china china, considerazioni fisico-mecaniche, e mediche Crema : M. Carcheno, 1711. The label "189" at the bottom of the image suggests that the reproduction is from a printed book lent by the Medical Society of London for Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930, an exhibition hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The printed book is listed as exhibit no. 189 in the souvenir catalogue.
