Siphilis sive morbus gallicus [1530] ad usum Pauli Spadoni Corinaltensis 1739. Nempe liber continens siphilidem ad usum non autem morbus gallicus (dii avertite casum). Translator's holograph MS., incomplete. Ff. 2-28. Latin text; 29. Paulus Spadonus hortatur venturos, ut dediti sint ad Poesim. 23 lines of Latin hexameters; 31-42. Libro secondo of Spadoni's translation into Italian verse; 48-62. Libro primo; 63-68. Libro terzo, ending at line 173 of the original Latin. No record of this translation or of the translator has been traced. A Paolo Spadoni [1764-1826] was a professor of zoology and mineralogy at Macerata.
