S ALE,he has a complete and most beautiful manus- criptof the above-named marvellous compendium of oriental sexuology. This copy is absolutely unique. It is composed of FOUR LARGE roy. 8V0 volumes of about 5oo pages each, bound in whole green morocco, with Haps after the Eastern style, and four strong artistic cases made by Bre- tault (of Paris), the title of the work in arabic monogram on both sides of each volume. This MS. was done by ^ABD-UL-FATTAH (of the Azhar Univer- sity, Cairo)andM. L’ABBEKATIR, a Syrian calligraphist. The paper is of tirst-class Imperial Japanese manufacture. The text was readover and revised by PROF. SELIGSOHN (a profound Russian Orientalist and once Pupil of PROF. HARTWIG DERENBOURG, the celebrated Ara- bist of the Sorbonne). This is the fullest and most correct arabic MS. known of this fa- mous production of the SHEIKH NAFZAWIII; in fact, we may boldly affirm that in all probability it is the most complete in existence. Only one third of this marvellous work has been translated into English. Lady Burlon, it is well known, burnt, together with Sir Richard’s translation of this work, the priceless Arabic MSS. he left behind. PRICE (of the Four volumes complete) £ 3 00.
