Description

Possibly an illustration in a series of military uniforms from the back of cereal packets. This shows the Deputy Inspector-General proudly displaying his uniform and dress sword on the north bank of the river Thames with Greenwich Hospital and Naval College behind him. A brief history of the reform of onboard medical conditions on naval ships and those in charge of implementing these is given as well as a brief history of the Hospital.
