Letter from Mr Dawson to Sir William Bunbury, 7 Feb 1749, regarding the destitute condition of the late Dr Warren's family of Cavendish (of the boys mentioned in the letter, one, Richard, became the celebrated physician and another the bishop of Bangor); Dr Richard Warren's prescription for Miss Julia [Dupre], 9 Nov 1821; Dr Warren's order for the second volume of the Transactions of the Geological Society; newspaper cutting of biographical details of Dr Richard Warren, undated.

Biographical note

Richard Warren, born Cavendish, Suffolk, 1731. Took MD in 1762 and was shortly afterward appointed physician to George III. He became medical attendant to the Princess Amelia and in 1787 was appointed physician to the Prince of Wales, which situation he retained until his death in 1797. No biographical information found on Mr H Dawson.
