Antonio Pollaiolo. Born at Florence 1428, was disciple of And. Del. Castagno. The print includes the collectors' marks of (centre) Jonathan Richardson the elder (1665-1745) and (right) Sir Joshua Reynolds (F. Lugt, Les marques de collections de dessins & d'estampes, nos. L 2183 and L 2364 respectively) indicating their successive ownership of the drawing
