Lettering

Emergency pediatric waiting room, public hospital. May H. Lesser

Notes

Lesser describes the print as follows: 'Today only two doctors are on duty in the emergency room, so some patients have to wait up to three hours before being seen. Finally the chief resident and some interns come down to help out. Even the new recruits seem hyperactive, racing from the examining room to the writing desks to the lab, and then back to their patients. The room is a sea of sick children. A very sick child lies still in his mother's arms. Other children wander about.'
