About this work
Description
This silent film with intertitles demonstrates closed circuit anaesthesia on a horse having surgery (castration of cryptorchid animal). The horse is led into the operating theatre under premeditation. Barbara Weaver is the anaesthetist. There is a team of four others in attendance. Two hours later the horse is seen, a little wobbly but well. Intertitle; The End.
