About this work

Description

Documentary following the lives of two fathers, Clive Williams and Stephen Robinson, who have undergone gender reassignment. Both men suffered from Gender Identity Disorder from an early age and are now respectively Cheryl and Stephenie. The programme is built around interviews with Cheryl and Stephenie, who explain the mental struggles and pressures that lead to their decisions to become women. Interviews with their families show the effects of these decisions on family relationships and illustrate how the family unit exists under these circumstances.
