REFUSE AND SALVAGE A weekly collection of house and trade refuse v/ith additional collections from hotels and restaurants as required,operates throughout the Borough except for a few isolated premises in the outlying parts* There are three refuse collection vehicles operating full time and the whole of the refuse is disposed of by controlled tipping* Trailers are fitted to the side-loading refuse collecting vehicles for the reception of salvaged articles* A separate vehicle is used wholly for the collection of salvage from shops and business premises* -21-
