One smuggler sleeps, another stands with his arms folded, and a third sits on the sand holding a telescope. On the shore in front of them are a pistol and a cutlass, with some barrels (containing contraband?). A sailing ship is shown at sea. In the background, high cliffs, and in the sky the crescent moon
