A first hand account of a devastating fire in Miramichi, New Brunswick in 1825, in addition to which "numbers have expired with cold and hunger, and many poor sick people, just rescued from fever, have perished from the effects of fatigue, having escaped the fire." There is a humorous poem (Jock and Jennet's wedding) on the back of this.
