Geoff Randall and Ian King discuss the effects of recent threats from extreme animal rights activists. Angela Nutt, who manages stockbrokers who have been told to sell Glaxo shares by aggressive animal rights activists, joins them and describes the effects of threats on share holders. Mark Walport of Wellcome Trust discusses various ways in which shareholders can be protected against such threats, and how such threats have affected those working in drug research.
