Open on the desk is a fictitious edition of William Harvey's Exercitaio anatomica de motu cordis et sanguinis: it has on the title page "Exercitation ... Gullelmo Harvey" (corrected to "Gulielmo" in a later state)and an engraving of the heart as a frontispiece
