![[ ] I had a continual Cough, and a Hedick Pof yer; I fpit Blood in great Quantities ^ I wag emaciated, and not able to walk twenty Yards; my Stomach and my Spirits were quite gone; whep I went to Bed, I thought I (hould never fee the Day-light more, Being an Apothecary myfelf, and comr ing to Town, I had the beft'Advice, but np- thing would do; but, reading your Book, I refolved to try your volatile Salt of Tarr tar; and happy it was for rne. I am now fo well recovered in a Fortnight’s Time, with God’s Afliftance, and your Medicine, that I can walk three or four Miles with Eafc, deep well, and eat in eight Day$ more than I have done in three Months be¬ fore. My Spirits are quite recovered; I can breathe without Difficulty; the Pains and Stitches in my Side, the Spitting of Blood, the Hedhck Fever, and my Night-fweats, are gone ^ and, in fhort. Thanks to the Al¬ mighty, I am quite another Man. Itispoffi- ble, you may not be pleafed with me, to thank you in this publick Manner; but, pardon me, Sir, for I fay, that I am obliged in Duty p you, and in Charity to my Fellow-Crea¬ tures, fo to do.
