    AN EXAMINING BOARD IN ENGLAND, BY THE Royal College of Physicians of London AND THE Royal College of Surgeons of England, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OE CLAUSE XIX. OF THE MEDICAL ACT (1858). I. That a Board of Examiners be appointed in this Division of the United Kingdom by the co- operation of the Boyal College of Physicians of London and the Boyal College of Surgeons of England ; it being understood that, liberty being- left to each College to confer as it may think proper its honorary distinctions,* each of them will abstain [so far as allowed by law] from the exercise of its independent privilege of giving * Namely, the Fellowship of either College, and the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
