Instruction leaflet that was probably included with packs of Thermogene medicated wadding (cotton wadding soaked in "vegetable essences" (eucalyptus? menthol?) which "warms away the pain"). It could be wrapped round the chest, neck, stomach or knee as required and was promoted for easing pain, inflammation, rheumatism, lumbago, neuralgia, chest colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, sore throat, laryngitis, tonsilitis, hoarseness, stomach chill and gastric influenza. The leaflet is printed in dark blue and orange. Their trademark of a flaming brazier is on the front, 7 instances of it being applied to patients inside.
