Tax on income. A correct abridgment of the act for imposing a tax on all income, containing those caluses which principally affect Landlords Tenants Housekeepers Lodgers or Inmates Trade or Manufacture Professions Office Pensions Stipends Employment, &c. &c. Exhibited in a clear and methodical Manner, with a Table, or Scale, of the different Rates, or Duties, payable from an Income of £60 to £200 per Annum, so that a Person may see, at one View, the intermediate Sum he is liable to pay: with All the Abatements in Favour of Children, Benefit Societies, Charitable Institutions, Annual Officers, Rectors, Vicars, &c. with the Exemptions, the Appointment of Commissioners, Surveyors, their several Qualifications and Duties; Mode of Appeal in certain Cases, Penalties, &c. &c. A schedule At full Length, for estimating the Income of Persons liable to be assessed; and an index, For the more ready Discovery of that Part which relates to the Individual.
