Description
Letter from Robert H Preston, photographer, to Galton originally enclosing a set of spare photographs. Appears to have been sent in response to Galton's advert in Nature, reprinted in the British Journal of Photography. Encloses one photograph of a family group with the faces of the subjects cut out. A note on the packaging indicates that the heads were moved to a separate box, not found with this item.
