Die weltberühmte Bartdame Frau Sleebus aus Antwerpen mit ihrem 45cm langen Vollbart Lettering printed in black on bottom recto. This roughly translates into English as 'The world-famous beard lady Mrs. Sleebus from Antwerp with her 45cm long full beard'.

Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "A Belgian bearded lady, c. 1900s, Mme. Sleebus. Bearded ladies such as this (presumably suffererers from the genetic disorder hypertrichosis) were standard fare at carnivals and sideshows throughout the western world from the eighteenth century on."
