About this work

Description

The fourth in an eight-part series following the stories of people with various sleep disorders as they visit Papworth Sleep Clinic. This part features Lindsay who makes awful noises all night long in her sleep and Adrian who can't stay awake during the day following an awful car accident. Lindsay's partner and family are at the end of their tethers and all are very tired, while Adrian's partner feels like she is living with a different man to the one she used to know - he sleeps nearly all of the day leaving Melanie to raise their three children alone. It transpires that Lindsay's problem is to do with her vocal cords rubbing together as she sleeps, for which there is no cure. Adrian is given some drugs to try to regulate his night sleep patterns and is advised to change his daytime routines.
