Description

On the left, the priest enters the churchyard. A sundial over the church door indicates approximately 8 o'clock. Outside the entrance to the churchyard sit two women and a girl. A family consisting of the husband and wife and a boy, wearing their Sunday clothes, climb the hill towards the church. Other people ascend the hill after them. Each person shown is holding a prayer book or Bible
