About this work

Description

A dorsal view of a 4 days post fertilisation Tg(Dlx4/6:GFP) embryo. The embryo has been has been labelled with anti GFP(green), anti-acetylated tubulin antibody(red) that labels neuronal tracts and anti-SV2(blue) that stains neuropil. This transgenic line expresses GFP in many dopaminergic and GABAergic cells within the brain. This images focuses on the telencephalic expression but the tectal neurons projecting their axons into the tectal neuropil are also beautifully labelled.
