Description
Kaposi's sarcoma (KS)
This is a high power microscopic view of a lung specimen from an HIV-positive adult with pulmonary lesions of KS. It shows a thickened vein wall which has many fine irregular slits associated with an excess of nuclei. This is one of the histopathological patterns of KS. H&E stain.
