1 volume 2 bl. ll. + 165 pp. + 1 l. 4to. 19 × 161/2 cm. Original vellum binding. Pp. 13/14, 19/20, 33/34, 89-92, 131/132, 149-158 have been cut out. The outer margins of the first 5 leaves slightly defective. The last two leaves have been pasted together: pp. 103-159 are blank.

Purchased 1931.

On the first leaf is an inscription [c. 1840] in pencil 'Mrs. Gregson's Receipts. E.R.G.'s Grandmother'. The writer of this is most probably Elizabeth Rose Gregson, who was grand-daughter of Elizabeth Gregson, née Allgood and married John Gregson [1774-1840] in 1800.
