    prum Ammoniacum. By Mr Benjamin Belly Surgeon at Wigton in Cumberland. D. aged 21 years,- applied to me in • December 1784, for a violent cough. She is above middle ftature, and apparently robuft. Her menfes had flowed at regular pe- riods, but had been fcanty for two years paft, which was the beginning of her indifpofitioii. She fays (he was feized fuddenly, after getting wet at the time of menflruation, with a molt fevere fit of coughing in the evening, which continued till noon the day following, without any remifllon, fo as to alarm both her matter and miflrefs exceedingly. They immediately called in the family apothecary ; and he admh flered different medicines, without any appa- rent advantage whatever. VIII.
