Plates [i], iii-iv, vii, xi, v b printed by Kohler; plate v, viii by Hullmandel. There is a variant state in which plates iii-iv are printed by Hullmandel and Hullmandel & Walton respectively, and are reversed, and plates xi and v b (misnumbered vii b) are re-drawn without reversal and printed by Hullmandel & Walton, and plate vi b-viii b are unnumbered
Copy 1 Supplier/Donor: MOBS Note: Lacking the final (i.e. 4th) leaf listing "Additional subscribers". Plate iii-iv, iib-ivb, v-xii, vb-viib with hand colouring. Binding: orig. brown morocco grain cloth, upper cover with gilt-stamped title "Obstetric tables / by / G. Spratt." Highly critical pencil notes dated 24 Sept. [18]76 on first page of text.
Copy 2 Note: Lacking last two (3rd-4th) leaves of "List of subscribers" and final (4th) leaf of "Additional subscribers". Variant state with plates iii-iv in reverse etc. With Highley's [1846?] catalogue tipped in. Binding: orig. purple fine diaper grain cloth, gilt stamp on upper cover as copy 1 but with date removed. #95400
